Comedy Mate — Support
Email support@awesomeosity.com. One person reads it, so plain description beats bug-report formatting.
Requirements
- iOS 26 or later
- iPhone and iPad (universal; iPad gets a real split-view layout, not a scaled phone)
- No account, no sign-up, no internet connection required
Restoring a purchase
Open Settings (the gear on the Home screen, or the sidebar row on iPad) → Pro → RESTORE PURCHASES. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so a new phone or a reinstall restores from there. On a fresh install, RESTORE PURCHASES is also on the plan screen. If nothing restores, check you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
Settings → Pro → MANAGE SUBSCRIPTION, which opens Apple's own subscription screen. You can also reach it at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling is always done through Apple, never in the app.
The free trial: seven days, then the plan you chose renews automatically. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you are not charged. Apple grants the trial once per Apple Account. Lifetime is a one-off purchase with no trial, because non-consumables cannot carry one.
What Comedy Mate Pro includes
Everything in Comedy Mate requires Comedy Mate Pro. After the opening walkthrough the app asks you to choose a plan: $0.99 a month or $9.99 a year, each with a seven-day free trial, or a one-time $19.99 purchase.
Pro is the whole app: all 52 drills, the six-stage funnel, set lists, recording and marking up your sets, and the on-device clustering that notices premises you keep circling back to.
My material is not on my other device
Comedy Mate syncs through your own private iCloud, so both devices must be signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive enabled. Sync is not instant; it can take a minute, and a device that has been offline catches up when it reconnects.
Recordings never sync. Audio stays on the device that recorded it, deliberately — set recordings are large and private. If you need one elsewhere, move it off the device yourself.
Nothing I write is judged
That is on purpose and not a bug. Every number in the app measures effort, never quality: a lifetime attempt counter that never resets, a garbage counter you are meant to be proud of, a thirty-day showed-up strip. Nothing in the app will tell you whether a line is funny, and the on-device model never writes or ranks material — it only suggests prompts and notices themes.
Privacy
No account, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, and no server. Your material lives on your device and in your own private iCloud, which Awesomeosity LLC cannot read. See the privacy policy.
